The MDB12 is designed for lake aeration with muddy bottoms. It has 2 of the 9″ Matala membrane disc diffusers mounted to a hollow base via a 6″ tee riser pipe. The riser pipe keeps the 2 air discs up out of the mud on a natural lake. Each single 9″ disc diffuser can handle airflow rates from 25 -120 lpm. Four discs combined can handle between 50 -240 lpm. Ideal flow rate is 120 lpm to 160 lpm for best performance. Add sand, gravel and water to the base to make it sink. Award winning design and fish friendly.
